Minimum Qualifications: A Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in biology, medicine, chemistry, physics, bioengineering, or a related field.
Position Summary: The Department of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Sciences in the College of Pharmacy at the University of Georgia invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position at the level of Assistant Professor. We seek an individual who will build and maintain a strong extramurally-funded research program in the area of pharmaceutical and biomedical sciences, such as AI drug discovery, cancer biology, medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, or pharmacokinetics.
Additional Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of postdoctoral training.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies: Evidence of strong potential for independent research and high-impact publications.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of the undergrad and graduate programs of the College of Pharmacy. (50%)
- Develop and maintain a nationally recognized program of research. (45%)
- Support the service mission of the College of Pharmacy. (5%)
