Responsible for functions related to teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses; advising students; serving on dissertation committee; engaging in scholarly activities in areas relevant to the department; and assuming departmental and college committee responsibilities.

Essential Duties Summary

• Teach undergraduate and graduate-level research methods in Administration of Justice, both online and face-to-face.
• Teach undergraduate and graduate-level statistics in Administration of Justice, both online and face-to-face, including master’s-level statistics and research methods courses.
• Advise students who major or minor in Administration of Justice and supervise theses and dissertations, particularly those employing quantitative or mixed-methods designs.
• Develop and maintain an active research agenda in contemporary topics in criminal justice or the administration of justice, with a strong emphasis on data-driven justice solutions, criminal justice measures, and policy implementation, including the pursuit of extramural funding.
• Participate in and develop partnerships with local, regional, national, and international scholars and practitioners, and criminal justice agencies, and serve on departmental, college, and university committees.
• Serve on departmental, college, and university committees and contribute to other professional and service activities as assigned.
