"Assistant Professor, Biology"

Upper Iowa University invites applications for an Assistant Professor in Biology with an emphasis in Fisheries Biology. This is a nine-month, tenure-track appointment in the Department of Science and Mathematics beginning in January 2026 (contingent on approved funding). A Ph.D. in Biology, Fisheries Science or a closely related field at the time of appointment is required. Duties include teaching 24 credits per academic year, supervising undergraduate student research projects, participating as a member of the Department of Science and Mathematics, and engaging in professional development opportunities as they arise. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
