Essential Duties Summary
- Teach core and specialized undergraduate and graduate courses in chemical engineering.
- Establish independent research program.
- Attract extramural research funds.
- Engage in laboratory research and scholarly activities.
- Publish high-impact, peer-reviewed journal articles and present findings at major scientific conferences.
- Provide academic advising, career mentorship, and research supervision to undergraduate and graduate students.
- Develop new courses and update existing curricula to reflect emerging technologies and industry needs.
- Participate in professional activities including internal and external conferences and seminars.
- Provides oversight of laboratory facilities, supplies, and materials.
- Provides service to college, university, and the community.
- Performs other job duties as required/as assigned.
