The Department of Neurosurgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of complex spine surgery including modern techniques and technologies. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Applicants must be ABNS certified or eligible and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in clinical care and education.
Teaching responsibilities may include the education and training of medical students, residents and fellows.
Clinical responsibilities may include the practice of complex spine surgery, including open and minimally invasive techniques.
Research or scholarship responsibilities may include developing an independent research portfolio in neurotrauma.
Qualifications: Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree and be ABNS certified or eligible.
