The applicant will also receive a 3-month summer appointment to teach in the master’s programs at the College of Education during the external grant funding period.
DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS: Successful candidates should be able to demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in scholarly research and teaching. Responsibilities for this position will include conducting rigorous academic research, teaching doctoral-level courses, and contributing to a dynamic faculty team in expanding the doctoral program in Counselor Education at Texas Southern University. The work distribution will be approximately 50% research, 40% teaching, and 10% service for the first three years of the appointment.

Hiring Range: $62,274.50 - $80,956.00
Education: An earned doctoral degree in counselor education/counselor education and supervision.
Required Licensing/Certification:
- Licensed Professional Counselor
- Certified School Counselor
- Certified Rehabilitation Counselor
- Valid Driver’s License preferred.
