Clinical Dermatologist - Adult Dermatology Focus
This role is dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered dermatologic care with a primary focus on adult populations. The Clinical Dermatologist is responsible for the diagnosis, treatment, and management of a wide spectrum of skin, hair, and nail conditions affecting adults.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality clinical care for adult patients with dermatologic conditions, including but not limited to:
- Acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis
- Skin infections
- Hair and scalp disorders
- Pigmentary disorders
- Benign and malignant skin lesions
- Perform thorough skin examinations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Conduct in-office dermatologic procedures (e.g., biopsies, cryotherapy, excisions as applicable)
- Monitor chronic skin conditions and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients on skin health, disease prevention, and treatment adherence
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams when necessary
Scope of Practice
- Specialized focus on adult dermatology
- Emphasis on clinical (medical) dermatology, rather than cosmetic/aesthetic services (unless otherwise specified)
