Assistant Professor, Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders
Job Description
Nine-month, tenure track faculty appointment with academic and clinical teaching responsibilities. The selected candidate will mentor undergraduate and graduate students in the classroom and the clinic, conduct and disseminate research in area(s) of interest. Provide service to university, community, state and profession.
Minimum Qualifications
Research Degree (Ph.D., EdD.) in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field; ABD candidates are encouraged to apply. Must have CCCs and be eligible for Kansas licensure. May consider qualified applicants who are interested in pursuing a terminal degree.
Preferred Qualifications
All areas of expertise within the field of communication sciences and disorders will be considered. Preference will be given to candidates with clinical and/or teaching experience.
Rank: Dependent on qualifications, education, and experience; Assistant / Associate Professor / Professor
Appointment Date: August 2026

Salary: Faculty salaries are 90% of current College and University Professional Association (CUPA) averages by rank and discipline.
