The F.C. Manning School of Business Administration invites applications from candidates for a 10-Month contract limited term (CLT) position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Accounting beginning August 1, 2026, and running to May 31, 2027.
The successful candidate’s teaching responsibilities will be the required accounting courses that are usually taken in the first two years of the BBA program. These courses are: Financial Accounting 1 & 2 and Management Accounting. Candidates should demonstrate commitment to their development as a post-secondary instructor. In particular, candidates should embody a willingness to collaborate amongst faculty within the accounting area group, foster an engaging classroom experience that is future-focused and aligned with the evolution of the accounting profession, and act as a key resource for those interested in pursuing various professional designations. Contingent upon experience, the candidate could also demonstrate the potential to contribute to curriculum development and pedagogical innovation within the BBA program. Although a willingness to engage in service and scholarly activities (i.e., publications and/or committee work) are recommended, the successful candidate will be expected to prioritize teaching.
Candidates should provide evidence of performance and potential as a teacher, which can include past teaching experience, demonstration of teaching effectiveness, examples of innovative approaches to teaching, supervision of students, and ability and potential to participate in and contribute to the Department's programs.

Academic Qualifications:
Candidates are required to possess an active Canadian Chartered Professional Accounting (CPA) designation and should have significant, rich, and varied industry experience to inform their teaching activities. A graduate degree (Master’s or a Ph.D.) with a focus in accounting, or a closely related area, represent further preferred qualifications.
