Assistant Professor in Integrated Resort and Tourism Management (Entertainment Design and Management)

The Department of Integrated Resort and Tourism Management (DRTM) at Faculty of Business Administration (FBA) invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor in Integrated Resort and Tourism Management (Entertainment Design and Management).

FBA is one of the largest faculties in the University and a well-established full-service business faculty with AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS accreditations.

As part of its strategic development, the Department of Integrated Resort and Tourism Management at FBA is looking for top-quality scholars to join the department as an Assistant Professor in Integrated Resort and Tourism Management (Entertainment Design and Management). Faculty members have published in all top journals in Integrated Resort and Tourism Management. The Department provides its faculty members with excellent research support including a start-up research grant, reasonable teaching load, and state-of-the-art facilities.

Qualifications

Applicants should (1) have teaching and research expertise in entertainment in tourism and hospitality, particularly in the areas of entertainment design or management; (2) hold a PhD in the relevant fields; (3) demonstrate a solid research record of international excellence as well as industry experience. The selected candidate is expected to teach and research in the identified areas and contribute to university, community and industry service and engagement.

The selected candidate is expected to assume duty by January 2027.
