Job Description

The Lien Centre for Palliative Care at Duke-NUS Medical School invites applications for an Assistant Professor (Research Track) in Implementation Science, with a focus on serious illness, ageing, and palliative care.

About the Centre

LCPC is a leading research centre advancing population-level approaches to palliative care across Asia. The Centre’s work spans health services research, implementation science, and digital innovation, with emphasis on system redesign, care integration, and improving outcomes for patients with serious illness and their families.

Position Overview

We are seeking a researcher whose research methods might include quantitative and qualitative research, behavioural, decision and implementation science to design, evaluate, and scale interventions that improve care delivery for serious illness and ageing populations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and evaluate implementation strategies (e.g., care pathways, digital health interventions)
  • Apply rigorous methodological approaches, including mixed methods and hybrid trials.
  • Secure competitive research funding as Principal Investigator
  • Publish in high-impact peer-reviewed journals
  • Collaborate with clinicians, health systems, and policy stakeholders
