Position Summary

The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at La Salle University invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor position beginning in the Fall 2026 semester.

Essential Duties

• Teach 12 credit hours
• Coordinate the College Algebra course offerings and adjunct instructors

Secondary Responsibilities

• Other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mathematics or related field
• Teaching experience at the collegiate level

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctorate in Mathematics or a related field

Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while teaching and performing academic duties.
• Ability to use a computer and standard instructional technology.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff.
• Ability to move between classrooms, offices, and meeting locations on campus.
• Ability to occasionally lift or carry materials up to 10-15 pounds.
• Ability to read and review printed and electronic materials.
• Occasional evening events or evening classes will be required.
