Position Summary
The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at La Salle University invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor position beginning in the Fall 2026 semester.
Essential Duties
- Teach 12 credit hours
- Coordinate the College Algebra course offerings and adjunct instructors
Secondary Responsibilities
- Other related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Mathematics or related field
- Teaching experience at the collegiate level
Preferred Qualifications
- Doctorate in Mathematics or a related field
Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while teaching and performing academic duties.
- Ability to use a computer and standard instructional technology.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff.
- Ability to move between classrooms, offices, and meeting locations on campus.
- Ability to occasionally lift or carry materials up to 10-15 pounds.
- Ability to read and review printed and electronic materials.
- Occasional evening events or evening classes will be required.
