Position Summary

The Nursing Program of the School of Nursing and Health Sciences invites applications for a full-time tenure track faculty position (9-month) to assume teaching responsibilities within the undergraduate and graduate nursing programs. Candidates with experience in all areas should apply. Specialization in OB, pathophysiology, pharmacology, and psych/ mental health are particularly encouraged to apply.

This position will be a 9 month faculty appointment.

Essential Duties

Teaching assigned courses: collaborating with course faculty for course planning, advisement, and curriculum development; participation in program, school and University committees; service and scholarship in line with program expectations.

Secondary Responsibilities

• Manages special projects and/or serves on committees as requested by the Dean or Chief Nurse Administrator.
• Completes annual reports and other reports as needed for accreditation and other regulatory agencies.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Registered nurse license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
• Doctoral degree
• Demonstrated record of professional and clinical experience, teaching, and curriculum development
• Knowledge of and commitment to the mission of La Salle University.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with varied instructional delivery methods is preferred

Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours

• Evening and weekend work may be necessary during certain times.
