Salary Range: The Assistant Professor (Academic Year) classification salary is $74,652 to $158,688/year; anticipated hiring range is $103,008 to $106,008/year.

Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a closely related field (degree at time of application or official notification by August 1, 2026)
- B.Sc. degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a closely related engineering field
- Specialization or research emphasis in AI-driven construction technology and automation
- Demonstrated potential for contributing to the success of a diverse student population
- Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching at the college level
- Demonstrated potential for successful research, scholarly, and creative activities
- Demonstrated commitment to working successfully with a diverse student population
Preferred Qualifications
- At least two years of effective teaching experience
- Record of successful development of a research program
- Demonstrated expertise in AI-driven construction technology and automation
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
Duties
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses
- Contribute to diversity and equity in education
- Develop and update curriculum
- Maintain and engage in research and scholarly activities
