Salary Range: The Assistant Professor (Academic Year) classification salary is $74,652 to $158,688/year; anticipated hiring range is $103,008 to $106,008/year.

Required Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a closely related field (degree at time of application or official notification by August 1, 2026)
• B.Sc. degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a closely related engineering field
• Specialization or research emphasis in AI-driven construction technology and automation
• Demonstrated potential for contributing to the success of a diverse student population
• Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching at the college level
• Demonstrated potential for successful research, scholarly, and creative activities
• Demonstrated commitment to working successfully with a diverse student population

Preferred Qualifications

• At least two years of effective teaching experience
• Record of successful development of a research program
• Demonstrated expertise in AI-driven construction technology and automation
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
