The Department of Neurosurgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of brain tumor surgery and brain tumor research. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Teaching responsibilities may include the education of medical students, residents, and fellows.

Clinical responsibilities may include the neurosurgical management of brain tumors and oversight of the multi-disciplinary care of brain tumor patients, including clinical trials, with a particular focus on gliomas.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include translational and/or basic research in brain tumors, with funding from the National Institutes of Health and other federal funding agencies as PI.
