Responsibilities:

• Administrative (Clinical Coordinator)Secures sites for clinical experiential learning; ensuring student placement in appropriate and sufficient clinical sites.
• Support and evaluates clinical sites and preceptors; ensuring that the clinical experiential learning portions of the program are in compliance with all applicable ACEND standards.
• Provide development opportunities for preceptors; maintain and distribute the Preceptor Handbook.
• Monitor and document student achievement of competencies associated with clinical experiences and completing ACEND reports.
• Supervise and observe students at clinical sites.
• Teaching and advisingTeach both undergraduate and graduate populations
• Teach in both in-person and online formats
• Mentor students through academic and professional development
• Provide academic advising
• Scholarship and professional activitiesEngage in professional and/or scholarly activity in the field
• Service to the UniversityParticipate in service to the College and University

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• A MS in Nutrition & Dietetics, or related field, is required
• Registered Dietitian, licensed to practice in Pennsylvania

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Familiarity with ACEND accreditation standards
• Prior teaching experience
• Prior experience with supervising students in clinical experiences
