Position Details
Duties Performed in the Usual Course of the Job
12-month position with primary role as lead faculty in fully online competency-based education ( CBE ) program. This position is also responsible for onboarding new faculty, assisting with student recruitment, and advising prospective students. Workload is based on student enrollment. A full workload is generally 300 students.
Educational Requirements for the Position
Candidates must have a terminal degree, such as a J.D. or Ph.D., in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or a closely related academic field.
Experience Required for the Position
At least 10 years of relevant work experience in the field of criminal justice.
Other Requirements for the Position
Online or hybrid teaching experience. Excellent communication and proficient in Microsoft tools are essential. Work may require evenings and weekends. Other service or training opportunities are expected across the academic year.
