Offer Description
Main tasks:
- conducting and developing research activities in the field of anthropology and molecular biology, including publishing research results and undertaking new research topics;
- participating in the preparation and implementation of research projects, including submitting applications for research funding and collaborating within research teams;
- developing scientific activity through participation in national and international conferences and cooperation with research institutions;
- conducting teaching activities in the areas of human biology, anthropology, molecular biology, and genetics, preparing teaching materials, and improving applied teaching methods;
- engaging students in the teaching process and supporting their scientific development, including through consultations and supervision of their work;
- participating in the organizational work of the unit, including involvement in teams, committees, and activities for the benefit of the study program or discipline;
- cooperating with the unit’s staff in the implementation of teaching, research, and organizational tasks;
- participating in the academic life of the unit and carrying out assigned organizational duties.
Formal requirements:
- meeting the requirements specified in Article 113 of the Law on Higher Education and Science;
- a doctoral degree (PhD) in the field of Exact and Natural Sciences, in the discipline of Biological Sciences.
- submitting all documents required to enter the competition.
Substantive Requirements:
- A proven scientific track record, including at least three scientific publications (articles published in journals listed by the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education or chapters in peer-reviewed scientific monographs), or authorship of a scientific monograph, or an international scientific publication.
- At least one year of experience in conducting scientific research.
- Experience in preparing or submitting at least one research funding application or participation in a research project.
- At least one year of experience in teaching at the higher education level, comprising a total of at least 60 teaching hours in the field of Natural Sciences, within the discipline of Biological Sciences.
- Experience in teamwork, including participation in a research, project, or organizational team for at least six months, or involvement in organizational activities for the benefit of the institution for a period of at least six months.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver teaching in a clear, well-structured, and engaging manner.
- Excellent command of the Polish language, both spoken and written, sufficient to conduct higher education teaching fluently, clearly, and effectively.
- Proficiency in English at a minimum of B2 level, enabling the delivery of teaching in English.
