We are seeking an outstanding candidate to join our faculty in the College of Education and Human Development at the University of Massachusetts Boston as a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Sport Leadership and Administration to begin September 1, 2026.

Candidates’ research agendas should focus on one or both of the following areas: 1) Opportunities and barriers to equity in sport leadership and administration; or 2) the role of sport in the pursuit of social change.

Responsibilities for this position include: 1) teaching undergraduate courses in the Sport Leadership and Administration Program; 2) conducting research that is relevant to the field of sport leadership and administration; and 3) contributing service to university, college, departmental, and program committees, professional associations, and to local, national, and/or international communities.

Required Qualifications: Ph.D. or Ed.D. from a Sport Management, Educational Leadership, Sport Studies, Sport Psychology, Sport Sociology, or related field.
