Midway University’s Sport Studies area is comprised of undergraduate programs in Coaching and Sport Leadership, Exercise Science, Sport Management and Sport Marketing. At the graduate level we offer an MBA with a Sports Management concentration.This area is one of the institutions' fastest growing and the Sports Management major is the second largest in the university. Undergraduate students in our sports focused majors and minors are highly involved in community-focused experiential learning that capitalize on the depth and breadth of the discipline.

The successful candidate will develop and teach courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Courses will be taught in both face-to-face and online formats. The candidate must be able to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with colleagues. All faculty are expected to advise students, serve on committees, be engaged in campus life, and maintain currency in the field. Research in the field is encouraged but not required.

Qualifications: Doctorate in Sport Management with preference given to candidates with expertise in Sport Communication and Sales and emerging sport management areas. Experience teaching both face-to-face and online is a plus. ABD candidates will also be considered.
