Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment promotion strategies with the focus on Taught Postgraduate (TPg) programmes, aligning with the University’s strategic goal of expanding its postgraduate offerings
- Collaborate with marketing agencies to oversee branding, advertising placements, and digital marketing campaigns
- Organise outreach trips to the Chinese Mainland for student recruitment
- Establish and nurture partnerships with target feeder schools and maintain an up-to-date contact database
- Support collaborative initiatives, including double degree programmes and joint supervision arrangements
- Oversee the management of social media platforms (e.g. WeChat, Xiaohongshu) and drive engagement through innovative digital marketing strategies
- Create high-quality promotional materials (e.g. videos, leaflets, posters)
- Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor(s)
Requirements
- Proven experience in recruitment or marketing in the higher education or related sectors
- Strong business acumen and expertise in digital marketing, particularly in advertising and social media management (Xiaohongshu experience is a plus)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage senior leaders from the government and educational institutions
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining partnerships with the Chinese Mainland universities
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in Chinese and English
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Willing and able to undertake frequent travel to the Chinese Mainland
- Able to work independently, and willing to undertake duties outside office hours when required
Candidates with less/more experience will be considered for appointment at a relevant rank.
Salary and Fringe Benefits
The rank and commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, and mandatory provident fund. The appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of up to one and a half years.
