The Office of Student Affairs (OSA) is responsible for the provision of desirable services for students of the University and enhancing their learning experience. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team dedicated to fostering whole-person development and a vibrant campus life of students.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for Counselling Team and service for students with special educational needs, including serving as a receptionist, addressing inquiries, scheduling appointments, and supporting wellness activities
- Coordinate logistics such as venue booking, transportation, equipment setup, attendance records, and providing on-site support for the Integrated Learning Programmes
- Manage office databases, documents and records in an accurate, organised and confidential manner
- Assist in updates and maintenance of published materials and the official website
- Support in office supplies procurement, stocktaking, and payment
- Assist with staffing for the Office of Student Affairs (OSA) and support university-wide events
- The appointee is expected to work outside normal office hours and on weekends if necessary
- Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor(s)
Requirements
- A recognised bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- At least two years of work experience, preferably in the tertiary education sector or local NGOs
- A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua)
- A high level of proficiency in general IT applications and MS Office applications
- A caring, empathetic, detail-minded and people-oriented disposition
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Organised and cooperative attitude
Candidates with less/more experience will be considered for appointment at a relevant rank.
Salary and Fringe Benefits
The rank and commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund, and gratuity.
