The School of Computer Science seeks to appoint an Assistant/Associate Professor to contribute to teaching and research in Computer Science and its applications. The postholder will deliver modules spanning
Operating system internals and the general principles and practices of developing low-level software that interacts directly with hardware.
AI fundamentals, search algorithms, knowledge representation, probabilistic reasoning, and machine learning techniques across real-world intelligent systems applications.
Human-computer interaction, user-centred design, agile software development, requirements gathering, and user acceptance testing methodologies.
The post holder will contribute to curriculum delivery and assessment, participate in the school’s administration, and undertake leadership, management, and engagement activities. The post holder will also contribute to teaching on other programmes should this be required, including other undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD supervision.
