Job description:
The Division of Biological and Biomedical Systems invites applications for a full-time, ranked non-tenure-track Assistant or Associate Teaching Professor faculty position in Biology. The teaching position will involve teaching undergraduate and possibly graduate courses, including Cell Biology, upper-level courses in critical thinking, and courses involving your particular expertise (contribute to existing courses or develop on your own).
Position to begin January 2027 or August 2027. Full-time, 12-month, benefit-eligible, ranked non-tenure track faculty position. Opportunity for ranked promotion is provided. Our academic schedules and workload provide for a positive work/life balance.
Qualifications
Applicants must possess a Ph.D., (or M.D., D.D.S., or D.V.M.) by the start date. Experienced MS or MA will also be considered with significant biological teaching. Postdoctoral experience is encouraged.
Anticipated Hiring Range
Rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications, and experience. This is a 12-month, benefit-eligible, full-time (1.0) faculty appointment eligible for ranked promotion.
