Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Artificial Intelligence for Veterinary Medicine

Job Summary

The School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Wisconsin-Madison invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in artificial intelligence (AI) to advance comparative biomedical sciences and clinical veterinary medicine.

Key Job Responsibilities

The candidate will participate in the School of Veterinary Medicine's research, teaching, and service programs. Specifically, the individual will be expected to conduct independent extramurally funded research in an area related to the application of AI to improve animal and human health; participate in courses for veterinary medical, undergraduate, or graduate students in relevant disciplines; train graduate students and postdoctoral fellows; and provide academic service to the Department, School of Veterinary Medicine, and University. The approximate distribution of effort will be 70% research, 20% teaching, 10% academic service.
