The Opportunity

The Temporary Associate Campus Director (ASCD) provides critical support to campus operations at Osan by serving as a key point of contact for student success, outreach, and day-to-day administrative coordination. This role offers the opportunity to directly impact student retention and engagement while strengthening relationships with military and community partners. The ASCD works closely with campus leadership to ensure seamless delivery of academic advising services, effective outreach efforts, and smooth campus operations in a dynamic international environment.

Key Job Functions

Student Advising & Support (40%)

  • Provide academic advising, including degree planning, course selection, and graduation tracking
  • Assist students with registration, program changes, waivers, and academic requests
  • Monitor student progress and support retention and at-risk student interventions
  • Maintain accurate student records and ensure compliance with university policies
  • Coordinate student services referrals (VA, financial aid, admissions, bookstore, etc.)
  • Communicate regularly with students according to campus engagement plans

Outreach & Community Relations (35%)

  • Represent the university at military installations, briefings, college fairs, and outreach events
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Education Services Officers (ESOs) and local organizations
  • Support recruitment and enrollment initiatives for military and civilian populations
  • Maintain campus marketing materials, display, and outreach information
  • Coordinate outreach scheduling and ensure adherence to marketing/outreach budgets
  • Travel locally to support engagement activities (personal vehicle required)

Administrative & Campus Operations (25%)

  • Provide general administrative support including communications, scheduling, supplies, and mail
  • Assist faculty and staff with classroom readiness and instructional support needs
  • Ensure smooth daily campus operations and student service availability
  • Respond to inquiries and correspondence in a timely and professional manner
  • Support Eagle Vision and other instructional delivery systems as needed

The Temporary Associate Campus Director (ASCD) position is an in-person role located at Osan Air Base, South Korea. Please note that the anticipated end date for this position is November 6, 2026.

Compensation

The annual salary range for this position is $43,888. The final offer will consider the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience, along with applicable state regulations, internal equity, and business needs, and may fall outside of the stated range.

Qualifications

Required Education and Qualifications:

Education

  • Associate degree or equivalent post-secondary education required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (field of study may vary)

Experience

  • 0–1 years of related experience required
  • Experience in student services, advising, education administration, military education centers, or customer service preferred

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to advise students using policies, procedures, and academic requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated professionalism in public-facing and outreach roles
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Additional Requirements

  • Must be able to travel locally for outreach events (personal vehicle required)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of student records
  • Comfort working in a military and international campus environment
