- 7+ years of related professional experience with at least 3 years of experience in annual giving, alumni engagement, or related development work.
- Demonstrated success in driving participation and building engagement
- Strong communication, organizational, and volunteer management skills.
- Experience collaborating across teams and working with volunteers.
- Proficiency with donor databases, CRM systems, and digital fundraising tools.
- Able to anticipate, deliver on, and exceed the expectations of alumni, alumni class officers and volunteers, colleagues, and other constituents.
- Able to introduce and drive innovation in ways small and large.
- Able to collaborate with others as primary means to achieve results.
- Able to seek out and create learning opportunities, including through those revealed by setbacks and failures as well as successes.
Description
1. Donor Engagement
In support of Tuck's strategic imperative to grow alumni giving participation, designs and executes strategies that strengthen alumni connection to Tuck and encourage annual giving. Works directly with donors to solicit gifts and provide education about annual giving. Develops cultivation opportunities that help alumni understand Tuck's priorities, experience the impact of philanthropy, and deepen their relationship with the school. Partners with Alumni Engagement colleagues to foster a culture of engagement, participation, and lifelong support.
Percentage Of Time: 35%
2. Gift Solicitation and Commitments
Identifies donor prospects, cultivates, solicits, and closes annual fund gifts. Secures written commitments and ensures prompt payments on pledges already made. Works to build a pipeline of annual fund donors and elevate their giving over time.

3. Volunteer Management
Recruits and manages annual giving volunteers. Trains volunteers to solicit peers, provides tools, communications, and resources needed to engage classmates and encourage participation in Tuck Annual Giving. Monitors volunteer activity, provides ongoing coaching and stewardship, and recognizes volunteer contributions in support of participation and fundraising goals.

4. Student Engagement
Partners with Alumni Engagement and other campus stakeholders to cultivate a culture of engagement and philanthropy among current students. Supports initiatives that connect students with alumni, deepen understanding of Tuck's culture of giving, and encourage lifelong participation in the Tuck community.
Percentage Of Time: 10%
5. Team Development
Contributes ideas, input, and support to Tuck Advancement initiatives, decisions, communications, and other activities with annual giving implications. Seeks out, applies, and shares knowledge of higher education fundraising trends and innovations.
Percentage Of Time: 5%
Demonstrates professionalism and collegiality through actions, interactions, and communications with others appropriate to an environment that is welcoming to all.
