strategies targeting external audiences and current SUNY Oneonta
students.
Researching and identifying target markets and recruiting
venues, analyzing trends, and assessing the effectiveness of
recruitment activities and events.
Utilizing innovative recruitment techniques and marketing
methods to develop, plan, organize, and execute recruitment
initiatives.
Employing effective and professional communication and
marketing practices to generate and respond to inquiries, provide
consistent recruiting information, and communicate proactively with
external agencies, partner universities, school districts, and
private-sector organizations.
Delivering presentations to diverse audiences in both in-person
and virtual settings.
Implementing effective practices for coordinating and reviewing
applications, including managing documents, maintaining student
relationship management processes, and supporting application
review activities.
Working proficiently within the Slate Customer Relationship
Management (CRM) system to manage prospective student
communications, track recruitment activities, and support
enrollment objectives.
Salary: $67,000 - $68,500 commensurate with experience. SUNY
Oneonta is a Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) qualifying

Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
- Minimum of five years of experience working in college
admissions or a similar setting.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, oral, and written
communication skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to travel and work evenings and weekends.
- Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
and demonstrated ability to learn and use technology effectively,
including social media and other electronic systems.
- Familiarity with undergraduate and graduate school application
processes.
Additional:
- Experience developing and delivering presentations to
prospective students, community organizations, or other
audiences.
- Experience analyzing and utilizing data, reports, or metrics to
support recruitment, admissions, enrollment, or organizational
decision-making.
Preferred:
- Master's degree from an accredited college/university.
- Previous experience in graduate admissions.
- Experience with Slate, university systems, or other similar CRM
or student information systems.
- Demonstrated success leveraging technology, data, analytics, or
innovative recruitment strategies to achieve recruitment,
enrollment, or organizational goals.
- Demonstrated initiative and achievement in meeting goals,
improving processes, or advancing organizational objectives.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion.
