Associate / Full Professor of Management
Position Description
The Area of Management in the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University (TTU) invites applications for The Hance Chair in Management, a full time, 9-month tenured/tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Associate or Full Professor to begin in Fall 2027 or Spring 2027. Candidates with a strong research background in entrepreneurship, leadership, management, organizational behavior, strategy, or closely related fields will be considered.
Salary and benefits are highly competitive and include financial support for data acquisition and domestic and international conference travel. Additional funding may be available for summer research support.

Major/Essential Functions
In line with TTU's strategic priorities to engage and empower a diverse student body, enable innovative research and creative activities, and transform lives and communities through outreach and engaged scholarship, applicants should have experience working with diverse student populations at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels within individual or across the areas of teaching, research/creative activity, and service.
Faculty Qualifications
- Candidates must hold a doctorate in Management or a related field.
- A demonstrated record or aptitude for high-quality research in the field of management.
- Specific experience in teaching management courses in one or more of the following areas: entrepreneurship, leadership, management, organizational behavior, strategy; delivered using one or more teaching modalities.
- Service experience or demonstrated aptitude to engage in service to the department, college, and university.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates with experience or aptitude for working with PhD students.
