Associate Professor - Neuromuscular Medicine Neurologist - AC Track
Job Description
The Department of Neurology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Associate Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Neuromuscular Ultrasound and/or Autonomic expertise. Applicants must have an M.D. degree. Applicants must be board-certified in Neurology and Neuromuscular Medicine.
Teaching responsibilities may include teaching neuromuscular fellows, residents, and medical students during their rotations in the EMG lab, outpatient clinic, and inpatient services. The NM faculty will also provide lectures on topics pertinent to neuromuscular diseases and the Department of Neurology throughout the year.
Clinical responsibilities may include seeing neuromuscular patients in the outpatient clinic and perform EMGs; Special interest in CMT is encouraged. If qualified, they may interpret NM ultrasounds and Autonomic studies.
