The University of Texas Permian Basin (UTPB) invites applications, nominations, and inquiries for the position of Associate Provost for Academic Accreditation and Curriculum. Reporting to the Provost and Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs, the Associate Provost supports the advancement of the University's academic mission across all colleges, programs, instructional modalities, and locations, and provides institution-wide leadership for regional and specialized accreditation, academic quality assurance, curriculum governance, and academic policy administration.

Serving over 7,000 students, UTPB is a Minority and Hispanic Serving Institution and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges. Odessa, one of the largest cities in West Texas, is home to UTPB's main campus, while just 15 minutes down I-20 sits the Midland campus. Required Qualifications

• Earned terminal degree from a regionally accredited institution.
• A successful record of progressive experience in positions of increasing responsibility and leadership in higher education.
• Experience leading accreditation/assessment efforts to a successful conclusion.
• Experience working with the curriculum development process, including both degree programs and General Education requirements.
