Job Details
The Associate Vice Chancellor for Student Success serves as the senior academic affairs leader responsible for institutional student success strategy, assessment, academic support services, and coordinated student success initiatives. Reporting to the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, the Associate Vice Chancellor provides vision, leadership, and direction for university-wide efforts to improve retention, persistence, academic achievement, and degree completion for all learners.
The Associate Vice Chancellor leads institutional efforts related to the development, tracking, analysis, interpretation, and presentation of student success data and metrics across the Center for Student Success, the Division of Academic Affairs, and the broader institution.
The position oversees the Center for Student Success, including academic advising for first- and second-year students, transfer students, readmitted students, and academically at-risk students; tutoring and Supplemental Instruction programs; academic engagement initiatives; and TRIO programs, including STEM-focused programming.
