Associate/Assistant Professor of Art Therapy
Social/Behavior Sciences: Assistant/Associate full-time Professor Art Therapy Program. The GW Art Therapy Program is known for our: trauma coursework integrating current research with clinical work in our on-site Art Therapy Clinic; international focus with reciprocal-learning opportunities; diverse internship opportunities; dedicated classroom facilities, studio, and Art Therapy Gallery space; and our history as one of the oldest art therapy programs established by founders of the art therapy field. We are a CAAHEP accredited, in-person, 12-month program. We are looking for exceptional candidates who are interested in joining a faculty team with varied interests and work experiences. The successful candidate will contribute in teaching, assisting with accreditation and program assessment documentation, and advising students. There is opportunity for overseeing student culminating projects and international teaching. We are seeking to attract culturally and academically diverse faculty interested in becoming part of a cohesive team. Applicants must have an ATR-BC in order to apply.
