Description
The Sociology department at Yale University is looking to hire a full-time tenured Associate or Full Professor of Sociology with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2027. The research specialization will be in the areas of comparative historical sociology/theory/political sociology. The department is particularly interested in established scholars who have made significant contributions in their career and have an ambitious research agenda. The selected scholar will also teach introductory and advanced courses in social theory, comparative-historical sociology, and/or political sociology, and advise student research at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Qualifications
The appointee must hold a Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
