Job Description:

GENERAL FUNCTIONS

Fitness Center Assistant & Athletic Home Event Management

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

The following are typical responsibilities associated with these positions. The specific responsibilities may vary and will be assigned accordingly by the supervisor.

• Ensure safety of all participants during fitness center hours and/or athletic events.
• Maintain cleanliness of Fitness Center & Athletic Venue.
• Organize and look after fitness center equipment.
• Photograph home athletic events
• Greet participants & be helpful to the campus community.
• Assist with set up and tear down of home athletic event venues.
• Assist volleyball officials with line judging.
• Retrieve balls & return balls to the playing surface.
• Help manage scoreboards, timers and scorekeeping.

Job Requirements:

SKILLS REQUIRED

Requires some lifting of equipment

Customer service oriented

Equipment Used:

Computer, card scanner, washer & dryer, scoreboard, camera

Physical Demands:

Requires some lifting of equipment

Additional Information:

Work Schedule / Availability: Must be available for Home events (nights & weekends). Day, evening and week-end fitness center shifts available
