Job Description:

The AU Ready Hire program helps to fill positions such as senior administrative assistant, staff assistant, customer relations representative, program assistant, executive assistant, and general office support positions throughout American University’s campus. This is an excellent opportunity for those who are interested in entry and mid-level career opportunities and have a passion for working in higher education.

Salary Range:

• $17.95 - $25.00 per hour
• Non-Exempt

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and at least one year of administrative experience or two years of college and 4-5 years of administrative support experience
• Strong interest in working within higher education
• Superb written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrable high level of attention to detail and high level of professionalism
