This position will work as a server or a bartender depending on the event and business demand. This position serves as a trainer. Trainers are responsible for supervising the learning experiences of students and hourly employees in all areas of The Hotel at Kirkwood Center, The Kirkwood Center for Hospitality Arts and The Kirkwood Center for Continuing Education. Set up for banquet events, carry trays, serve guests and clean up events. Provide consistently high standard of service in all areas of service and meal functions related to group. Ensure a clean and safe working environment. Effectively handle customer concerns. Participate in department and pre-shift meetings. Prepare Mixed drinks as ordered, and collect payment and give change to guests at Banquet Bar's. Understand and practice "Service Alcohol with Care" principles. Maintain compliance with required training as designated by supervisor. Regular and consistent attendance at work. Perform other related work duties as assigned.
