Bilingual Study Assessor
The McSilver Institute for Poverty Policy and Research is looking to hire a part-time bilingual (English-Spanish) study assessor for the randomized controlled trial: "Treating Maternal PTSD to Enhance Parenting and Reduce Maltreatment Recidivism: Safe Mothers, Safe Children." This study, an exciting collaboration between ACS and NYU, aims to improve the identification, case management, and treatment of mothers with trauma-related disorders who are raising young children and receiving child welfare preventive services to reduce the risk of repeat maltreatment and to improve positive parenting.
We are currently recruiting for a part-time study assessor. The assessor will conduct the client assessments throughout treatment, with the exception of the pre-treatment assessment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Conduct mid, post, and follow-up assessments throughout study implementation
- Maintain assessment records
- Write compliance charts based on the assessments
- Collaborate with research staff in necessary reporting, trainings, auditing, and case discussions
- Comply with current IRB regulatory requirements and procedures
- At least 1 year of clinical experience
- Bilingual (English-Spanish)
- Flexibility around work hours
- Experience with virtual tele service delivery, i.e., Zoom
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and teamwork skills
- Experience with research, project management, and collection of research assessments is a plus
- Knowledge of evidence-based trauma interventions and child welfare is preferred
