Overview

Graduates of the doctoral study programme receive a third-level university degree. The Business Economics and Management from Bratislava University of Economics and Business is conducted according to an individual study plan under the guidance of a supervisor.

Graduate profile

The graduate of the study programme Business Economics and Management acquires and can integrally apply advanced scientific methods of basic and applied research, participates in the development of knowledge in economics and management, integrates the latest trends of modern society and is able to apply them in various spheres.

He/she can define problems accurately, analyse economic and managerial phenomena and processes, generalise and standardise the acquired knowledge and apply it to the solution of specific problems, thus contributing to the development of economic and managerial theory.

Programme Structure

The study programme of the 3rd degree in Business economics and management prepares graduates who will apply themselves as specialists in the field of basic or applied research, in the educational process at the college/university and in the system of lifelong learning with the main competence related to business economics and management.

Tuition fees are shown in AUD and the most likely applicable fee is shown based on your nationality.

International: International tuition fees apply to students who are not citizens or permanent residents of the study country. In some regions, like the EU/EEA, or under certain agreements, students from partner countries may also pay domestic fees. Non-residents - Free
EU/EEA: European Economic Area tuition fee is applicable to the students from EU countries, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland. EU/EEA Nationals - Free

The living costs include the total expenses per month, covering accommodation, public transportation, utilities (electricity, internet), books and groceries.

Funding

Talented students with excellent academic performance are eligible for EUBA’s merit scholarship. Merit scholarship is possible to be received only after the first year of study is completed at the EUBA and only best students are awarded. Students do not have to apply for this scholarship, best students will be contacted automatically by the study department of the respective faculty.
