In addition, it wants to develop investigations of specific issues in the field of management science and operations, marketing, organisational science, organizational behaviour, strategy and entrepreneurship, financial and managerial accounting, in order to push forward the frontiers of knowledge, with cutting-edge and significant implications for the entire theoretical and/or operational context.

- At the end of the third year (October) the Business Management and Accounting PhD Students at Tor Vergata University of Rome that complete their thesis can be admitted to the final exam, where a committee made by three members will judge the research work.

General requirements
- Candidates to the new PhD cycle are invited to submit their application following the procedure of the Call for Applications (Bando di concorso), that is published by the University of Rome Tor Vergata administrative offices. The Call for the new academic year is usually available in Spring, with the chance to submit an application in the same period.
- The selection is based on (1) an evaluation of the candidates' CVs and Research Proposal, (2) a written test, (3) and an oral exam, that includes the discussion of the candidates' research proposal and an assessment of their English skills (part of the oral exam can be in English). The date of the exams changes from year to year, according with the timing of the selection procedure. Usually the exam is during the Summer (June or July).
