Offer Description
Dean of Faculty/Head of Organizational unit, on behalf of the Rector of Bydgoszcz University of Science and Technology announces a competition for the position of Assistant Lecturer in the group of research-teaching staff in the Department of Visual Communication.
Candidates for the position of teaching assistant should have:
- the aptitude to teach courses in printmaking and graphic design.
- skill in applying printmaking in projects related to visual communication and related fields,
- knowledge of specialized technical facilities, equipment, and processes in the printmaking studio.
- knowledge of software for digital image processing and animation, including software that supports the design process.
The candidate should be creative, committed, able to work in a team, willing to deepen their knowledge and improve their skills.
Notes: The candidate should strive for academic/artistic development (earning further degrees and titles). The Faculty of Design has the appropriate authority in this regard. The candidate must be mobile and available.

Skills/Qualifications
The candidate is required to meet the following qualification criteria (please adjust to the position), e.g.:
- Holding a master’s degree in the disciplines of fine arts and art conservation,
- aptitude for teaching students,
- having a pedagogical preparation or willingness to undertake an appropriate course,
- knowledge of current trends in art, including photography and multimedia used in design field,
- familiarity with Adobe CC software used for digital image editing,
- knowledge of English or another modern language,
- activity in exhibition or competition (participation in exhibitions, biennales, awards, publications).
- in the case of foreigners, the command of the Polish language, spoken and written, is required to the extent that enables conducting classes with students.

- 4) description of professional work to date, specification of scientific, didactic and organizational achievements related to the type of position being the subject of the competition,
- 5) portfolio in digital or printed versions,

- 7) a statement that the candidate meets the conditions specified in Art. 113 of theAct of July 20, 2018 - Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2021, item 478, as amended),
- 8) a statement that Bydgoszcz University of Science and Technology willbe the primary/additional\* place of employment of the candidate,
