Campus Facilities Technician (Electrical) - Campus Management Office - Building Equipment Maintenance Team

Department: Campus Management Office
The responsibilities of the appointee include : operating, maintaining, and improving various building facilities in the university campus and student and faculty residences, including electrical and basic mechanical systems and air conditioning systems; assisting in supervising the contractor's system installation, repair, maintenance, and improvement work . The appointee will be required to work in shifts and provide emergency support when necessary .
Applicants must be familiar with the basic operation and maintenance of electrical systems and hold a valid electrical engineer registration certificate; have five or more years of relevant work experience, but those with less than five years of experience who have completed an accredited apprenticeship training course will also be considered; must hold a registered skilled / semi-skilled technician level or equivalent qualification recognized by the Construction Industry Council ; be able to work independently; be able to communicate in Cantonese, Mandarin and basic English; be able to understand system design drawings; and have basic computer skills in writing and reading basic English emails. Holders of Class 1 and 2 driving licenses will be given priority consideration .

The contract is for two years and is renewable. Employees are entitled to a final payment, medical benefits, and paid leave.
