Career Consultant
PRIMARY PURPOSE
The Career Consultant serves as the primary bridge between the liberal arts classroom and the professional world. In this hybrid role, you will act as a dedicated divisional liaison for either Arts & Humanities or Math & Natural Sciences. Your core mission is to provide high-touch career advising and build robust networks tailored specifically to the students and faculty within your assigned division. By embedding yourself in these academic communities, you will help students translate their specific studies into viable career pathways.
Complementing this foundational work, each Consultant owns a critical operational pillar for the Career Center team. Depending on the candidate's strengths and the needs of the team, this third area of responsibility will focus primarily on either Digital Communications & Strategy (managing the voice of the office) or Event Management & Programming (designing the spaces for connection). Both roles report to the Managing Director of the Career Center.
