We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Cash Application and Banking Associate to join our Finance team. This role plays a key part in accurately processing customer payments and banking transactions, supporting daily cash activities, and maintaining accurate financial records and controls.

Position Summary

The Cash Applications & Banking Associate is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of customer payments, banking transactions, and daily cash activities. This position ensures that cash deposits are properly recorded in the corresponding partnership bank account, while supporting the company's banking operations, reconciliations, and cash controls.

The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, organized, analytical, and comfortable working with large volumes of financial transactions. The position requires strong accounting knowledge, excellent Excel skills, and the ability to maintain accuracy while meeting daily deadlines.

Cash Application

• Review, code and process checks through remote deposit systems.
• Monitor deposits for errors, duplicate submissions, or potential fraud.
• Assist in resolving rejected or returned deposits.
• Investigate and resolve reconciling items
• Identify unusual or duplicate transactions and escalate issues when appropriate
• Assist with application of Customer Incoming ACH payments when necessary
• Maintain Customer Remittance Advice files

Banking Specialist

• Initiate Outgoing ACH payments, wire transfers, internal transfers and other banking activities
• Maintain Appropriate documentation and support for banking transactions

Control and Processes

• Protect confidential financial and customer information.
• Meet daily processing and productivity targets.
• Identify opportunities to improve cash application and banking processes
• Maintain accurate documentation and transaction records.
• Ensure all transactions comply with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Assist with Audit Requests
• Maintain Excel reports and spreadsheet when needed
