About This Opportunity
Working across Student Enrichment and Employability Development, drive student success by supporting the Career Development Team in coordinating the delivery of projects and providing administrative support to students, staff and industry regarding job opportunities, employability events and programs. This role encompasses project management, stakeholder engagement, and administrative duties to achieve program goals.
Project Responsibilities:
- Support the full project lifecycle, including planning, execution, and evaluation. Ensure adherence to project plans and standards.
- Develop and maintain project-related standard operating procedures and assurance of standards and logistics, under guidance of management.
- Organise and support the delivery of project-related activities, events, consultation activities and meetings.
- Undertake data entry, retrieval, and document management.
- Utilise specialist software and applications, including eLearning management systems, Asana, the Microsoft office suite (including excel)
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Provide front-line support to students, including answering queries and assisting at employability events.
- Review and process job opportunities in StudentHub.
- Answer queries and prepare correspondence that come through the CRM, phone and face-to-face.
- Maintain accurate student attendance records in spreadsheets and calendars.
- Provide administrative support for events and programs, including data management and reporting.
About You
We are looking for an agile and adaptable project officer, with strong coordination and time management skills combined with excellent communication, attention to detail and the ability to deliver outcomes in a high-pressure, time-critical environment.
Selection criteria:
- Demonstrate equivalent education and/or experience in a related field. Previous project management experience is desirable.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems (Oracle RightNow, StudentHub), and data analysis.
- Exhibit excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Possess strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this appointment and may be required to complete background checks including, criminal history and education checks.
