Position Summary
The School of Nursing at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro is recruiting for a certified registered nurse anesthetist faculty member in the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program. We are seeking an innovative and talented individual who is actively engaged in evidence-based practice and education and who wants to advance the teaching, service, and scholarship/research mission of the UNCG School of Nursing.
Responsibilities of the position include teaching, active contribution to scholarship through evidence-based practice; student supervision and advising including participation in DNP capstone projects; and service to the school, university and community/profession.
The academic appointment is a 12-month clinical track position with full benefits with an August 1, 2025, start date. Review of applicants will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.

Minimum Qualifications
- Candidates must hold a graduate degree in nursing and must hold or have completed a doctoral degree in nursing or related fields by August 1, 2025.
- An unencumbered RN license in North Carolina; CRNA certification and licensure in North Carolina are required prior to the start date of August 1, 2025.
- Clinical expertise and technical proficiency in administering anesthesia
Preferred Qualifications
- The ideal candidate for this position will have teaching experience, current CRNA clinical practice, and scholarship appropriate to the desired rank.
