The Medicine Service Line at The Queen's Health Systems, our largest teaching hospital, provides comprehensive, compassionate, evidence-based medical care to children, adolescents, and adults throughout Hawaiʻi and the Pacific Rim. JABSOM is seeking a Full Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Hawai‘i John A. Burns School of Medicine, who will concurrently serve as the Queen’s Health Systems (QHS) Associate Chief of the Medicine Service Line. The JABSOM is a community-based medical school with numerous clinical affiliates across our island state. Internal Medicine training occurs within the Queen’s Health System, at Kuakini Medical Center, Kaiser Permanente Hawaii, Hawai’i Pacific Health, and across a larger network of clinics across the state, including the State Department of Health and clinics on the neighbor islands.
Applicants must meet the qualifications to serve as a Medical School Department Chair at UH JABSOM and be able to hold a concurrent position as the (QHS) Associate Chief of the Medicine Service Line. More details are in the JABSOM job posting.
