Position Summary: We are seeking outstanding candidates whose research programs focus on patterns of genomic variation and the processes shaping them. The successful candidate's research interests will be centered on plants but not necessarily limited exclusively to plant taxa. We seek a colleague whose research is driven by fundamental biological questions at both the proximate and ultimate levels, rather than by methodological development.

The successful candidate will teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels with the opportunity to participate in our integrative graduate curriculum. Teaching responsibilities may include courses in genomics as well as the candidate's area of specialization. The successful candidate will bring a thriving, externally-funded research program, will contribute to our Ph.D. and M.Sc. programs in Biology, and will mentor Biology undergraduates in research and in the classroom.
