Your personal sphere of influence:

At the Institute of Organic Chemistry, Prof. Maulide's working group, at the Faculty of Chemistry, a position is being filled in the areas of digital visualization, media production and scientific communication.

The position is embedded in an international research environment and particularly supports the development of innovative formats for conveying scientific content (e.g. video formats, digital platforms, lectures).

Flexible work arrangements within the framework of the university options.

The employment relationship is initially limited to 9 months. If the evaluation is positive at the end of the fixed-term period, the position will be permanent.

Your future tasks:

  • Development of visual concepts to represent chemical and scientific content
  • Creation and editing of video and media content (e.g. editing, compositing, animation)
  • Collaboration on innovative formats of science communication (e.g. digital platforms, lectures, audiovisual content)
  • Technical implementation of visual elements for presentations and events
  • Support in the establishment and further development of digital infrastructure in the area of ​​media and communication
  • Collaborate with academic staff to visually prepare complex content

This is part of your personality:

  • Completed training in the field of media technology, digital art, audiovisual production or comparable
  • Experience with video editing, compositing or visual design
  • Technical understanding and ability to visually structure complex content
  • Independent, structured way of working
  • Interest in science and its communication
  • Ability to work in a team and a high level of personal responsibility

Additional qualifications (advantageous)

  • Experience with software such as Nuke, DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Suite
  • Experience in VFX, film or digital media production
  • Interested in connecting science and visual communication
