Chemistry Adjunct Professor

Division/Department Information:
The Department of Chemistry at the Queens campus of St. John's University, located in New York City, is seeking applicants for adjunct instructor positions in foundational first- and second-year chemistry courses. We are specifically looking for instructors to teach general chemistry and organic chemistry lecture, laboratory, and recitation sections.
Responsibilities:
The Department of Chemistry is seeking adjunct instructors for one-semester appointments, with the possibility of renewal. Successful candidates will primarily teach foundational first- and second-year courses in organic chemistry and general chemistry, including lecture, laboratory, and recitation sections.
Qualifications:
Applicants should have an M.S. in chemistry or are currently pursuing an advanced degree in chemistry or a closely related field. Candidates should have the ability to teach foundational undergraduate chemistry courses, particularly in organic chemistry and general chemistry lectures, laboratory, and recitation settings.
